My Projects
(both serious and fun!)
The Sideline Post
Founder, Editor-in-Chief
The Sideline Post is the first-ever centralized platform for college athletes, like me, to share their stories through their own words. Inspired by the Players’ Tribune. The Sideline Post was born in April of 2020 during my freshman year at Penn. Since its inception, we have published 50+ full-length stories from athletes around the world, representing a wide range of universities and sports.
I currently serve as the platform’s Editor-in-Chief and manage a small team of college students to maintain operations.
@kcpmusic
Music junkie
As a lover of all things music, I created an Instagram during my junior year of high school to document my musical journey as I not only aimed to improve my guitar, piano, and drum skills, but discovered new songs to share with my followers.
Content on this page includes videos of me covering songs, while also providing a recurring list of my current favorite songs at the moment. Additionally, I provide my thoughts and opinions on artists, songs, and albums I listen to pretend like I’m a Rolling Stone writer and share my insights for all that are interested!
Springsteen Heardle
Creator
Pairing the rise in interest in daily games like Wordle and Heardle with my love for Bruce Springsteen’s music, I created a Springsteen Heardle in July of 2022. The premise of the game is to guess the song previewed in the least amount of attempts possible. I found this opportunity to be a great way to connect Springsteen fans all around the world and a fun introduction to the world of coding as the Glitch platform operates using the javascript programming language.
In its first month, the Heardle acquired over 27,000 new users and over 92,000 page views. As of September 2023, the game averages close to 2,000 visitors a week.
Graphic Design Work
Freelance / hobby
My interest in graphic design has increasingly risen over time with my experience creating website and social content for The Sideline Post and other miscellaneous projects. In July of 2021, I opened an Etsy shop to begin selling some of my digital work. The shop currently holds various music posters of my favorite artists among internship/job resources such as resume and cover letter templates that I plan to expand upon.
Headband Andy
Website design
I collaborated with rising hip-hop artist and TikTok star, Headband Andy, to build his first official artist website. The site includes everything about “HBA” and will continue to be updated with upcoming shows, pictures, and new singles/videos.
