  • Tell me about a time you had to make a decision without much information.

Questions I used to prepare for my Google interview

I used the STAR framework to practice answering almost all of these questions.

General Cognitive Ability

  • Tell me about your favorite Google product and how you can improve it?

  • Tell me about your favorite brand and how you would help them maximize revenue.

  • You have a friend that sells designer boots. That friend comes to you and asks for your help with starting an online presence for their brand. But as an online presence, they don’t want to participate in any e-commerce and actually sell the shoes online. What Google products and what strategies should they use and why?

  • How would you explain to users of a Google product that their favorite product will no longer be available for use?

Role-related

  • How would you explain Google Ads to a four-year-old?

  • Explain how you’d pitch Google Ads to a local flower shop.
